Donald D. Aspegren, D.C., M.S.

Dr Aspegren obtained a 4 year undergraduate degree in Biology from Bethany College in Lindsborg Kansas. His doctorate of chiropractic 4 year degree is from National College of Chiropractic in 1985. Following graduation, he went on to perform a two year residency under the direction of James M. Cox, DC, DACBR in Ft. Wayne Indiana, focusing on research and treatment of lower back pain. After completion of his residency, Dr Aspegren moved to Denver Colorado where he earned a Masters of Science Degree in Sportsmedicine from Chapman University.

Dr Aspegren has chapter contributions in numerous texts and journals, and 2004 became the first chiropractor published in the prestigious American Journal of Sports Medicine involving research on professional golfers with hip and low back pain. Dr Aspegren has served as a member of the official sportsmedicine team on the professional golf tour (PGA) from 2001-2007. He has taught in the post-graduate faculty divisions of chiropractic colleges on the treatment of injured athletes and rehabilitation for over 25 years. Dr Aspegren was one of the first chiropractors selected to participate as part of the sportsmedicine team at the United States Olympic Training Center. In 2008 he was a speaker on a sportsmedicine program held in Indianapolis during the NFL Combine event. Beginning in 2007 he became an invited author for the British Medical Journal (BMJ) from London England . Dr Aspegren has also lectured for NCMIC, the worlds largest chiropractic mal-practice company, speaking on safety, rehabilitation and the use of guidelines in clinical practice. He has also served on the State of Colorado Workers Compensation Guideline Committees revising treatment guidelines, serving as chairman for three terms.

Kyle Stengel, D.C.

Kyle Stengel, DC is a Certified Chiropractic Practitioner. He provides evidence-based chiropractic medicine with spinal rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Dr. Stengel focuses on specializing in the treatment of spinal, sports, work, and auto injuries.

He is a Colorado native, born and raised in Durango. He graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. He then completed his four-year chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California. In 2015, he began his own private practice. His practice has an extensive network of medical specialists on hand if your particular condition requires referral.

Dr. Stengel’s practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of spine, musculoskeletal, and sport injuries. He treats acute, sub-acute and chronic conditions for patients. Treatments include chiropractic manipulation/mobilization, decompression therapy, IMS-needling, and soft-tissue manual therapy.

Dr. Stengel has a wife, Lauren, and two children, Blake and Annabel. He enjoys exercising, golf, skiing, and traveling.
